Women are strong. We are caretakers, change-makers, leaders, community builders, protectors, money-makers, and spiritual guides. Women are also more likely to be burned out. Over-scheduled, over-committed, and last on our list of priorities. It doesn't have to be this way.
At Specked Poppy, we're here to provide resources, support, and encouragement to women who know they need to make changes, stop expending energy on the wrong things, and create a life that feels fulfilled and balanced.
Widow. Divorced. Solo Parent. Corporate Professional. After total burnout, I dove deep into my emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical health.
I began healing myself from the inside out and learning who I was again. Now I’m sharing those lessons with you!

Some FUN facts about ME
My incredible son recently turned 18, making me the mother of an adult (cue the tears!). Widowed when our son was six years old, the past 12 years have been a roller coaster, but through it all, we've learned to thrive and enjoy life. He's my favorite travel buddy, a talented artist, and has a wicked sense of humor. He is, and will always be, my greatest accomplishment.
Meet Timothy (Black & White) and Thomas (Orange)! Adopted from our local cat shelter, these sweet boys bring plenty of fun and mischief into our home. Timothy is fascinated by the kitchen faucet, trying to catch any water drips. Thomas likes to pretend he's a mountain climber, scaling up furniture and the occasional screen door. Both are little lovers, and we're so happy to have them as part of our family.
Looking to find a hobby and expand my creative talents, I recently started taking pottery classes. Trying to center clay on a spinning wheel is incredibly humbling. It is also incredibly satisfying to create something from your own hands (even if it wobbles a bit or has an unintended hole in the bottom!)
In the 1:1 coaching program, you'll receive personalized guidance tailored to your unique journey, helping you navigate life's transitions and cultivate resilience. Our coaches provide a supportive environment where you can explore your goals, identify obstacles, and develop strategies for lasting change.
The 12-week program begins with reflection, the introduction of new system reset exercises, and the setting of intentions. It focuses on celebration, reflection, and forward momentum by reviewing your progress, defining next steps, and honoring your personal commitment to continue on the journey toward a balanced and beautiful life.
Coaching will begin by helping you reflect on your journey and identify current burnout signs and feelings. Recognizing signs and creating self-care rituals begin to lay the foundations for building balance and compassionate boundaries.

Assessing life satisfaction and understanding how to map your energy can create alignment, a positive mindset, and healthy & sustainable practices in your life. Coaching will help facilitate this process, giving you tools to carry forward in your life.

Coaching can help give you the tools to develop healthy relationship habits, building a community that nurtures a life in balance. Gratitude practice, celebration of your journey, and creating reasonable and achievable next-steps can provide you with success in maintaining a balanced life.
